The Project Accountant will have the following responsibilities: Working knowledge of Contract
Documents, Payment Vehicles, and Job Costing. Daily cost tracking research and analysis.
Daily, weekly, and monthly cost report production. Validation of Subcontractor invoicing and extra
work submissions. Client invoice preparation, evaluation and modification. AR, OP, EP, OS
document production and processing in People Soft. Participate in the on site training and
supervision of field administrative staff. Assist the Project Engineer on the project closeout.

Requirements:    Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Applied Science, or
Accounting.
Basic understanding of cost tracking principles, concepts, and systems.
3-5 years of experience cost tracking on Civil or Environmental construction projects.
Experience with Lump Sum, Cost Plus, Cost Reimbursement, and or Unit Price contracts.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts.
Ability to estimate a Lump Sum change order.
Computer Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Expedition, HCSS, PeopleSoft (or
comparable) ERP.
Basic understanding of estimating, engineering, and cost tracking systems.

Description: Manager, Lean Six Sigma Projects: This position has matrixed responsibility to various global business
units and to the Process Improvement and Program Management organization. Depending on the role, this

B. Job purpose (mission or "raison d'être")

To drive down Hertz' cost base and improve the customer experience by streamlining processes and
reducing defects. Support the culture of continuous improvement; leading teams and promoting change.

1. Manage projects end-to-end, delivering or exceeding agreed upon results. Gain stakeholder approval
and commitment throughout the project life cycle. Implement sustainment strategy in partnership with
process owner.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience leading and executing continuous improvement projects in a
dedicated Lean Six Sigma position within a transactional environment
Industry experience at managerial level with responsibility for multiple departments and/or locations
Formal Lean Six Sigma training through certification with application of Lean Six Sigma tools and
methods including DMAIC, DFSS, and Lean skillsets
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from recognized source
Proven ability to direct and motivate teams
Experience leading projects in supply chain would be an advantage
