Philanthropy
As the face of Penn State in the local community, the Northern NJ Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is committed to philanthropy and community service. *************************************************************************************************************** For our 4th year, the Northern NJ Chapter will be volunteering with the First Cerebral Palsy Center of NJ for their Annual Basketball Shoot-out. The event will take place on Saturday, March 20th from 10am-12pm in the gym at Bloomfield College, in Bloomfield, NJ. As in the years past we'll be helping to rebound as well as anything else to help the CP center make this event another success. It's another great chance to volunteer and help out a great cause. *************************************************************************************************************** In addition to the many services our chapter provides for local Penn Staters, several of our events are fundraisers for the Penn State Dance Marathon and the Four Diamonds Fund (www.thon.org), as well as our own scholarship efforts to support the education of local students who have chosen to study at Penn State.
