$12,500 Donation To THON!

Our Alumni Chapter has always been proud of the strides we have made in Northern NJ to support THON. Our annual Golf Outing each spring is one of the largest fundraising events for THON held by alumni in the country. This event is co-chaired by Mike Cocco (PSU NNJ Alumni Chapter President, David Reese (PSU Alum) and, Adam Duff (PSU Alum). In the picture, Mike and Adam can be seen presenting THON Overall, Elaine Tanella with a check in the amount of $12,500. Thanks to all those that support the annual Golf Outing.

EVENT:
Nutley Family Serivce Bureau Thrift Store
DATE: Saturday, May 22nd
TIME: 9:30am-3pm
LOCATION:  Nutley Family Serivce Bureau

Our chapter will be volunteering again at the Nutley Family Serivce Bureau on May 22nd. For those of you  who don't know the thrift store sells items to where all proceeds go to assisting families that are in need.

We will be at the thrift store from about 9:30/10:00 a.m. till about 3:00 p.m. During this time we'll be helping out, primarily with the book sale that the thrift store is intending on running that saturday. We will be helping to keep the tables full with things for customers to buy, while also helping to carry/move things around and help out in general.

We are looking for several volunteers for this event to help out.
For any one who is interested, contact Matt O'Connell at mko101_2000@yahoo.com.

Thanks for your time and continued interest with helping out.
